Jontong Ink

A graphic design & branding project for a fashion start-up

Project Overview

Jontong Ink is a new clothing and accessories business. They approached us and asked for help to design their brand and some of the graphics for their clothing lines. We took inspiration from the name 'Jontong Ink.' This means 'Traditional Ink,' in English. The concept of their entire brand derives from a 'Dojang.' This is a traditional, hand-carved name stamp used with ink to seal official documents. We had one hand-carved and then used the actual stamp impressions to create their main graphic logo. The ink-stamp concept was used throughout the project.
